A bit about me

Pronouns: She/her

Favorite animal: Narwhal

I’m Celia and I live in New York City with my girlfriend, two dogs, and a cat that acts like a dog.

I specialize in UX writing, but also have experience with product design, copywriting, and editorial planning. To me, a perfect job would be in a mission-driven small company where I could wear many different UX hats.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with friends, old bookshops, linguistics, animal rescue, tiny houses, good food, bad 90s sci-fi, street art, local food sovereignty, and moss. I’ve been told on more than one occasion that I’m a typical Aquarius. ♒️

Finally, I like to think I have a pretty good grasp on design sprints and I absolutely love to facilitate them. You can read about my approach here.

Volunteer

I’ve worked on several climate-related projects over the last few years and I’m open to un-paid volunteer opportunities in the following areas: climate justice, anti-capitalist work, and #landback projects. My skills are (likely) most valuable in digital spaces, but I’m happy to help wherever there is a need.

Recent volunteer projects: Earth Day Live 2020, Digital Climate Strike, Sweet Farm

Let’s work together

I’m always open for opportunities to collaborate with designers, technologists and organizers, especially on projects working toward environmental justice.
